WHO WE ARE
About us
Welcome to The Speech Space, where we offer Speech Language Therapy services for children and adults, as well as a Sensory Play Shop for children.
Our founder, Nasiha, is a Speech Language Therapist with over 7 years of experience working with children and adults with complex communication needs, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum.
At The Speech Space, we are passionate about providing high-quality services to families and children with a variety of therapy needs, while focusing on all aspects of communication and general child development.
WHAT WE DO
Our services
Voice disorders
During therapy sessions, our speech therapists use a variety of techniques to help improve voice quality and eliminate vocal strain. We may use exercises to improve breathing and vocal cord function, as well as strategies to reduce tension and promote relaxation. We also offer guidance on proper vocal hygiene and vocal warm-up exercises. With our support and guidance, individuals can overcome voice disorders and achieve greater success in both their personal and professional lives.
Articulation disorders
Our team of experienced speech language therapists use evidence-based techniques and individualized treatment plans to help children improve their articulation skills. We work with children to develop the specific muscles needed for speech production and help them learn the correct placement and movement of the tongue, lips, and jaw. We work closely with families and educators to ensure that the child is receiving comprehensive care and support.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
